Mick Schumacher is getting ready for the final rounds of the ADAC Formula Four championship this weekend, where he has a chance of claiming the championship title.
The son of Formula One legend Michael Schumacher currently sits 39 points behind championship leader Joey Mawson with 75 points still available from the final three races at Hockenheim this weekend.
Schumcaher, 17, has half as many wins as his Australian rival with four, but has managed to finish every race and has only missed out on points in three races.
Meanwhile, despite winning at least one race in every meeting this year, Mawson has been out of the points on four occasions, including a retirement at Oschersleben.
"There is no specific plan – I´ll treat this weekend just like all the others before, in other words, step by step, and then make the best of it," said Schumacher ahead of his title showdown with Mawson. "I will certainly be doing everything I can to convert this chance into success. As long as I have a chance, I will fight to exploit it."
