'Ferrari should think about changing few people'

Former F1 driver Gabriele Tarquini has backed suggestions Ferrari might now be on the cusp of making some more high-profile personnel changes. Italy's Autosprint claims this week that, with Sergio Marchionne unhappy about the results so far in 2016, Briton James Allison might be in line to take over from Ferrari team boss Maurizio Arrivabene.
The rumour concludes that Aldo Costa, Mercedes' engineering chief, might then return to Ferrari, but so far neither team has commented on the speculation. But Italian Tarquini, a former F1 driver of the 80s and 90s who went on to become a highly successful touring car driver, thinks another shakeup might be just what the Maranello team needs.
"As an Italian, the current results of Ferrari make me sad of course," the 54-year-old told Germany's Auto Bild. "Ferrari really has everything it needs to win. They have no inferior a budget than Mercedes and certainly no less experience."
Asked what is wrong, then, Tarquini answered: "They probably just don't have the right people. In recent years, they have made many profound changes to the management and the engineers, but the results have not improved. Maybe they should think again about changing a few people," he added. (GMM)

I dont think staff changes will see any differences really. If anything, it could very well decrease the current performance. Its not like they're in a bad position, they've just been very unlucky multiple times.

No sh*t sherlock who should they replace and with whom hmm? These loud mouths have nothing to offer but make over the top claims about what to 'probably' do. Who was this Gabriele? He was an also ran in some races between 87-92s then some races in 95. He holds the record for most failed attempts to qualify, trooolololo and he is giving advice?! Waste of space that left F1 pretty much like Herpes Herbert another loud mouth, along with Martin Blunder and the rest of the dysfunctional gang of loud mouth advisors we have F1 broadcasting these days.
Pfffft I'd have better luck using some random dried up animal turd as a crystal ball and make my grand predictions along with random claims and I'd have the same accuracy as these fools.

He's last grand prix was I believe 12 years ago.

Former F1 driver Gabriele Tarquini. . .He participated in 78 Formula One Grands Prix. He scored 1 championship point, and holds the record for the most failed attempts to qualify. I think this says it all about the quality of hisopinion.

Als Ricciardo slim is (of wie dan ook) wacht hij nog een jaar om bij Ferrari te gaan.
