FP2: Red Bull Racing strong as Ferrari struggles

Red Bull Racing looks to have a real chance to win in Monaco. Daniel Ricciardo set the fastest time in the second free practice for the Grand Prix of Monaco. The Australian was the only one to go under 1:15. Mercedes had to settle for second and third.
Ferrari was struggling and couldn't keep up with Red Bull Racing and Mercedes. Even Toro Rosso was quicker. Sebastian Vettel damaged his rear wing in a spin in Turn 5. Rio Haryanto crashed in the chicane after the tunnel. Kevin Magnussen crashed in Turn 19.

McLaren just inside FP3 in Monaco, not very impressive seeing as how Dennis riled on how competitive they'd be there. I wish he'd stop talking, makes fans more pissed rather than motivated. Would be better if they did things like Renault.

That do sound interesting, but I'll pass! I've already signed a lifetime deal on whaleoil, is supposed to be incredibly healthy and awesome in all incredible ways*. I was a bit uncertain at first, but Dennis convinced me of it's awesomeness!

What's wrong with Ferrari, Vettel hit the wall twice, kimi faster again.
The STR's with the old Ferrari engine are even faster.

It looked like Ferrari were focusing on high fuel runs, that extra momentum into sharp corners hints at handling issues leading to high inertia into corners if you got the braking wrong.

I'm afraid Ferrari's slipping back down the field. RBR seems to have the upper hand now.

We'll see I expect it to be very close between RBR and Ferrari with Vettel having the upper hand if he puts a clean lap together. The Ferraris looked like a handful both in Spain and Monaco so far for both him and Kimi.

Agree with @MCLARENFAN1968, Ferrari are def working on high fuel runs, this will give them good data on what the 1st part of the race will be like for them. A lot of teams usually do this. Saturday Qualifying is the main game changer, so I wouldn't put them out just yet, but I don't believe Ferrari have a good enough chassis to fight Mercedes and RBR.
