Jenson Button has hit back at Jolyon Palmer after he made comments about the halo head protection device at Hockenheim.
While the Strategy Group was meeting in Geneva to discuss whether to introduce the device next season, the drivers were in Germany preparing for this weekend's Grand Prix
While in Geneva the decision to delay the introduction of the device was being made, the debate was raging on in the paddock.
British driver Jolyon Palmer was quoted saying that saying most of the drivers were opposed but "don't really voice it in the press".
However Grand Prix Drivers Association director Button hit back at the rookie saying: "He's incorrect, and it's very unfair for him to speak for other drivers. It (halo) is a great solution."

Hamilton was against it to begin with, yet he is for it now. Vettel can tolerate it, but complain that visibility is poor with the Halo, and they intend to fix that. By the looks of it, many drivers would actually not mind the Halo.
