Mercedes boss Toto Wolf has joked that this year's title battle is just "as Bernie would have ordered it", as Lewis Hamilton's win set up a championship decider at the final round of the season.
Hamilton now sits just 12 points behind Rosberg, who needs just a podium finish to secure the title, regardless of his team mate's result.
"As Bernie would have ordered it, there will be a showdown in Abu Dhabi," Wolff said. "12 points gap, so they are going to drive it out on track. We just have to give them two cars so they can fight it out on the track."
"You can't expect a one-two in these conditions and this is what is a rare achievement. You have such tricky conditions and to drive it home with a one-two and a faultless drive of Lewis with the best pace in the field. I'm very happy about that result, it's maybe the best result of the season."

Of course it´s like bernie ordered, because he ordered it.
There is such clear evidence on the whole year that Mr. E and Mr. Lauda and Mr. Wolff want Hamilton as a champion in order to create a more and more legend.
Why? Because of many things:
-Rosbergs punishment in Austria was ridiculous, because Lewis drove into Nicos car ON PURPOSE to destroy his front wing. Insiders know that no matter what he said after the race (blind spot.. just ridiculous)
-Rosbergs punishment in Hockenheim the same. Compare that to Verstappen in:
Spa (against Raikkonen), Hungary (against Raikkonen) and many other dirty moves which had definetely been penalised if Rosberg/Vettel had done the same.
-Hamilton not being punished for cutting the track in mexico. Of course you´re going to tell me he lifted between corner 3&4 and gave back his advantage nonetheless it´s cutting the track and it´s clearly in the rules not allowed to do so.
Mr. E always sais he favours Ham instead of Ros, Ros is boring with wife and kids blabla this is why they desperately want Hamilton to win the championship. And he favours Ves more than Vettel or whoever. This is the reason why Verstappen is never being punished although he´s doing dirty driving.
Verstappens driving style is a political thing, same as Hamiltons Lifestyle as a so called Rockstar. These are the reasons why they are favoured instead of the boring others.
And yes i think Verstappen and Hamilton are very good. But i do believe that Rosberg, Ricciardo, Alonso and Vettel aren´t that bad either. I´d like to see them without psychological mindgames in the same car around one track. I bet there is not much difference between them.

@hemex:
it´s not a theory. Just listen to what they say and what they do the whole year long..
