Bernie Ecclestone has admitted that he would be interested in buying Interlagos.

The Brazilian Grand Prix is facing an uncertain future due to what the F1 supremo calls "financial reasons", and the track looks set to be privatised.

"It depends on how he wants to sell it," Ecclestone answered when asked of the possibility of him buying the track. "Maybe I'm interested in doing business."

"If they sell to someone else it could be more difficult to keep the race here," he added.

Ecclestone met with Brazilian president Michel Temer last week.

"It was very good. We talked about general matters, nothing in particular. It was a good visit," the 86-year-old said. "He knows more or less what we need, and what we would like to happen."

Speaking of meeting the new mayor of Sao Paulo, Ecclestone said: "I'm returning to Europe but before Christmas I will be in Brazil."

"I do want to meet him, yes," he added.

"If they sell to someone else it could be more difficult to keep the race here,"

Because Bernie sets the price to hold F1 at the venue. So sell to Bernie or forget another Brazilian F1.
