Force India have signed a multi-year contract with whiskey company Johnnie Walker.
Johnnie Walker, owned by Diageo, first entered the sport in 2005, working as a partner with McLaren. They still have a year left on their contract with the Woking based team, which they will see out.
The deal is being viewed as a change in brand sponsorship, rather than a big-money deal to back the team. Johnnie Walker will replace Smirnoff, which is also a Diageo company, on the Force India cars.
Johnnie Walker have consistently promoted safe and responsible drinking messages to large audiences.
Two time world champion Mika Häkkinen is Johnnie Walker's entitled Responsible Ambassador.
