With Formula One taking a major aerodynamic overhaul for next season, we could see teams experiment by introducing shark fin wings along the top side of their engine covers.
The concept hasn't been used since 2011, and with the rear wing being wider and lower, it means cars will suffer more from the turbulence generated by air coming off the front axle and suspension.
The design was introduced in 2008 by Red Bull who featured it on their RB4, and it helps divert turbulent aware from the rear wing to obtain optimum cornering speed.
