The organizers of the Grand Prix in Azerbaijan are excited by the amount of tickets they have sold so far for the race in 2017.
The race debuted last season but disappointed many with very little overtakes taking place throughout the Grand Prix. There was a fear that last years race could affect the turnout for this year.
However, that is not the case according to Baku City Circuit Director Arif Rahimov: "We are delighted with the response we received at this stage of the pre-sale. Ticket sales provides indications of sharply increased interest in our Formula 1 event, both domestically and from abroad.
"Now the second phase of our campaign begins to convince fans that they have many options with us to experience a great race from various beautiful places along the track. Whether you want to get in one day, two days, three days or more. Act quickly and book your tickets for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix."
