McLaren's racing director Eric Boullier has hinted at some exciting changes for the teams 2017 car, which will be called the MCL32. McLaren enter their third year with Honda in 2017, with many fans hoping they can be more competitive than they have been in recent years.

However, one story that has grabbed the headlines for McLaren over winter is the consistent hints that the livery that the team will wear will be a traditional orange. McLaren will launch their car on February 24th, where Boullier says there will be "exciting changes".

"There will always be changes, and that's the way it always should be," he said. "As you know, a Formula 1 car itself never stays the same from one race to the next. Across the businesses, in fact, we're triggering other changes - and we've got some exciting changes planned for our new car, the MCL32, but we want those to be kept secret until we show it to the world on February 24."

  • We will have to see exactly how exciting those things are. And even if they are, will they help McLaren this year?

No site says it will be orange buddy, everyone just assumes this because of the photo mclaren tweeted a few weeks ago with an orange hexagon style photo.

    • Nothing really. Its a pretty old tradition by now that McLaren goes out and hints on an orange car. Though they've certainly done it more this year than usual. I, for one, hope they wont switch to an orange livery, but we'll have to see.
