Watch this clip of the McLaren MCL32 take to the track for the first time at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The car was taken out by Fernando Alonso who will take part in his third year with McLaren-Honda.
Im sure its the light, but in some of the footage the car almost looks red. I guess the rendered images are a bit misleading, and they went for a sort of tomato orange or something. Wish they had went for the same metallic colour they use on the P1, but I guess its pointless to cry over spilled orange juice.

Well, maybe not metallic, more candy or chrome or something, but still.

What do you think of the car under direct sun light? mobile.twitter.com(...)69021212672/photo/1
I think the orange shows much better.

Also, I didnt notice until now, but McLaren is the only team which has those odd things on the sides of the nose.

There were similar arguments about what the colour was when McLaren introduced it in the late 60's/early 70's - guess its authentic then!
