Haas have officially launched their 2017 car, the VF17. The car was first spotted yesterday when it took to the track for the first time. The American team enter their second year in F1, with a relatively successful first season, claiming 29 points.

The car wears a darker livery than last season, keeping the red theme with black, but also adding a dark shade of silver to the car. They too have added the shark fin to the car, which has featured on all but one car so far.

  • Rather well packaged rear for this car but as always looks mean nothing, the talking starts on the stop watch. So far the only stand out concept being Ferrari.

  • Looks sort of cool, like the shark fin on this one. I wonder if Ferrari's PU is even more compact this season, the rear on all Ferrari-powered cars look pretty tight, could be a good thing if they did it successfully, ot reason to worry if they dont manage to cool the PU properly.

Is it the picture, or does the car has a lot of rake?
