Reflecting on his final day of pre-season testing, Lance Stroll was happy to end the week on a high, as he managed to put in 132 laps throughout the day on Friday.

Stroll gathered some immediate criticism after the first week of testing where he spun into the gravel twice and crashed into the barriers once, meaning Williams couldn't test their car on the final day of the first week.

However, Stroll had a much more composed second week of running, gaining a lot of mileage and experience. Speaking about his last day of testing yesterday, Stroll says he made a mistake on what should have been his fastest lap.

"It was a good end to a good week. I've had my time on the super-soft tires, I had a strong run but unfortunately, I made a mistake in what my fastest lap of the day should have been. Last week was a little frustrating for me, but I have done a lot of good work this week. In two weeks we go to Australia, I will build up quietly and from there we'll see how things go."
