Word coming from China now is that the race will be held on Sunday at 14:00 local time, however, a delay is possible. There was a meeting to figure out wat should be done for the weekend ahead and a Saturday race suggested, however, those proposals have been shot down.
If the weather does not allow for the race to start at the time mentioned above, there will be a delay until it is appropriate to get underway. The delay will be to make sure that the medical helicopter can land at the Shanghai hospital if needed.
Sky F1's Martin Brundle said this morning: "I do not know if you've heard it before but when I walked from the commentary box I talked to some people again. The weather on Sunday could be bad again, and they would prefer to run the race on Saturday than having no Grand Prix on Sunday".
