Daniel Ricciardo admitted in Montreal that he would see Renault bring their engine upgrade to Baku. Formula 1 travels to Azerbaijan after the Canadian Grand Prix and that is where Renault will reportedly bring their new engine.
Renault's power supply in 2017 has been somewhat down on rivals Mercedes and Ferrari and it has been singled out as a major factor in Red Bull's lack of pace this season.
"We should keep closing up now," Daniel Ricciardo is quoted by Auto Motor und Sport in Canada. "It will not be as good here as Monaco, but we have a lot of new things on the car, small things, but enough that we can talk about an upgrade.
"Until the summer break we should get new things at every race, and in Baku we should get more help with an update from Renault," the Australian added. "Our data from the wind tunnel and the track are now matching and we know what direction we need to go in."

They've pretty much promised an upgrade for that event, so I think he'll get one.

Lets hope is allow them to catch up a bit. A 6 way fight would be great.

Even with new upgrades they will not be able to catch Ferarri or Mercades this season. I believe they have their eyes set for 2018 already.
