Ferrari will bring an engine upgrade to the British Grand Prix later this year according to respected journalist James Allen. The Scuderia is hoping to bag major points at the race around Silverstone, the second last before the summer break.
It will be the third engine of the season as in Baku, there was a scare for Sebastian Vettel who had to change his engine before qualifying. It was an older and used engine, having already done around 5,000km, meaning he lost some time down the 2.2 km straight.
In the last decade, Ferrari has only won in Britain twice with the last victory coming in 2011 at the hands of Fernando Alonso. At the next race in Austria, Vettel will run with the same engine as he did in Baku, before scrapping it for the rest of the season.
