Alonso should look at Ferrari return says Ecclestone and Briatore

Former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and former Renault team boss have both said Fernando Alonso shouldn't rule out a return to Ferrari. The Spaniard left the team in 2014 somewhat acrimoniously after they failed to provide him with a car capable of taking him to a third world championship in their five-year partnership.
Alonso very rarely had the fastest car in that time, although did manage to get very close to the championship in 2010 and 2012, mainly due to the Spaniards driving ability. Ferrari now though have a car competing at the front of the grid, with Sebastian Vettel taking the car to three victories so far this season.
With Alonso looking for a way out of his woeful McLaren, there have been suggestions to move back to the team from influential voices.Briatore, Alonso’s former boss and mentor from his time at Renault has said that the idea that Alonso had burnt his bridges with Ferrari is not true, contrary to popular belief. He revealed that the only problem person in the team was now departed former team boss Marco Mattiacci.
Briatore said: "He always got along with everyone and only had problems with Mattiacci. In this life you cannot exclude anything. Fernando is a bit like Senna, who had no problem with any team -- he only needs a car capable of winning. In formula one there are only two teams racing to win -- Ferrari and Mercedes.”
Ecclestone also responded with Alonso, when asked who should drive for Ferrari in 2018 should they have a vacant seat in the team, suggesting he would still be the best fit for the team. He said after being asked the question: "Alonso, of course. He is one of the best F1 drivers of all time."

Yeah, as long as they have Vettel, the chance of them retaking Alonso is slim.

If we are to believe Briatore (highly questionable I know) it was only mattiacci with the problem, if so it's possible, I mean he went back to McLaren, crazier things have happened

True, and the current Ferrari isnt exactly the way Ferrari used to be. But I still think it is unlikely.

They Must Do it... Will benefit both Parties!! Alonso deserves a Winning Car and Ferrari need a level headed Driver that doesn't loose his S#@t and swerve into another driver and compromise Race Wins and potential Championships...

Lets not throw stones in glass houses. Alonso has done several questionable things over the years.
