Pirelli has confirmed that Sebastian Buemi is taking part in a two-day test in France, providing the Italian outfit a look into its 2018 tyres. Buemi will be driving Red Bull's 2017 car, as the energy drink team is working alongside Pirelli for this particular test.
The test will be run on 2018 spec tyres to give Pirelli all the data they need. Buemi is lapping Circuit Paul Ricard, a track that will feature on the 2018 calendar as France makes a return. Buemi is the current leader of the Formula E standings.
Rumours are also swirling about the future of the former Toro Rosso driver. His name has been thrown into contention for a seat at Renault for the second half of the 2017 season, replacing the struggling Jolyon Palmer. Buemi recently signed a two-year extension with Renault e.dams in Formula E.

Buemi is quite good i think but it has to be considered that he already had a shot at F1 and didn´t make it..
