Sebastian Vettel has said that Max Verstappen is still wild and inexperienced in his on track defending after their latest on track battle at the British Grand Prix. Verstappen has said in retort that Vettel has no right to complain, especially as it appeared that they both pushed each other off the track during their on track battles at Silverstone and Vettel seemed to be just as aggressive.
Vettel has been skating on thin ice in terms of penalty points on his licence, having 9 points up until the British Grand Prix and potentially one incident away from a race ban. Plus there were calls to give Vettel a race ban after he deliberately hit Hamilton at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, with many saying he was lucky to get away without a race ban.
However, it was Vettel complaining about Verstappen’s driving saying: "He has more experience now and has become calmer, but Max is still a little wild in his defending."
Verstappen retorted to these remarks in earnest saying that he should be more worried about his own driving record, as he only has one penalty point and would not take Vettel's complaint seriously.
He said: "Especially after what happened last time when he got penalty points on his license," was a cause for concern undoubtedly referring to the incident in Baku

I used to be really fond of Vettel but he does seem like a guy who can dish pressure out but can't take it without whining.

Verstappen did really good moves, especially around the outside of Seb. He´s especially in the first laps as kind of aggressive as Seb, Michael, Lewis and Fernando are (or have been).
And i can understand Seb when he´s saying Verstappen is aggressive, but i think he needs to look at the mirror, he can be exactly the same..
The triggering point of Seb´s message is maybe that this kind of driving was "banned" by strict rules in the last years where the driving was forced to be more calm after the Schumacher-era.
Since the rulemakers said after last year they are going to be a little less harsh with punishments the driver are going to fight more with each other and from a viewers perspective it´s perfect. I love it when they bang wheels like Lewis and Seb in Spain after Seb´s pit stop.
So stop moaning Seb everything is going to be good if you nail the start in the next time.. :-)

Sebastian Vettel is still the only driver in f1 history to be penalized for moving under breaking since the rule was formalized in the code of conduct.

That's a really good point, there seems to be a bit more to his language about verstappen.
I feel that the way the Sebastian pushed him off the track in the first corner was actually a bit wild; that fact the they did not crash into one another was not his doing. It was verstappen whom was the more responsable and made sure that they did not run into eachother. The next corner when verstappen had the inside he made sure that there was no space for Vettel. This World champion got schooled by VER and that's what VET doesn't like.
Is he worried that Ferrari signs him up?

What happened in Mexico last year was pretty extreme and deserved a penalty. Also, Rosberg got a similar penalty for moving under breaking against Verstappen (out of all people). That being said, Verstappen should have been penalized at least once last year for moving too much under breaking.

Love him or hate him, MV has revitalised F1 and he has a phenomenal skill set. I'd say that Red Bull probably has equally the best driver line up this year. And here's another thing, MV puts bums on seats while 'old' SV is becoming like one of those old white haired grumpy old men down at the pub mumbling about 'youth today.'
