Pierre Gasly and Max Verstappen will test the RB13 next week at the second in-season test of the year. Following the Hungarian Grand Prix, teams will be sticking around for the test in which they are enabled to run with new parts and test different set-ups.
The test will run over the course of two days, commencing on Tuesday, August 1st and the concluding the very next day, Wednesday, August 2nd. Most teams have confirmed their line-ups, and now Red Bull has done the same by announcing Gasly and Verstappen.
Gasly is eyeing a Toro Rosso seat for the 2018 season, but the certainty of the deal is being debated as Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat may well remain with the team. This year, Gasly has been competing in Super Formula, the highest class of racing in Japan.
Verstappen, of course, is well accustomed to the RB13 and will take part in this test as his teammate Daniel Ricciardo took up driving duties in Bahrain which hosted the last in-season test. Verstappen will be at the wheel of the car on the first day of running, with Gasly stepping in on day two.
