Haas' brake whirlwind continues in Belgium

Haas Formula 1 team principal Guenther Steiner has confirmed that the team will be running with Brembo brakes at the start of the weekend in Belgium, in an attempt to get to the root of its ongoing brake issues. It's no secret that the American squad has been having trouble with the brakes, with Romain Grosjean often heard complaining.
Since introducing itself in F1 back in 2016, Haas has had continuous brake setup issues, swapping between Brembo and Carbon Industrie for much of this season. Ahead of F1's return after the summer break, Steiner confirmed that its two drivers will be running with Brembo.
"At Spa, we will be running Brembos to start off with and then we will see," Steiner said. "The plan at the moment is to run Brembos. We are still working through the data we gained from our last wind tunnel test to see if we bring another package for Japan or when we go to the United States. It looks more like we may bring some more updates for the U.S. Grand Prix."

I think this is the main problem with Haas business model. He is not a "constructor" in the true sense, but an assembler and be warned, these are the kind of consequences for standardisation of parts. Whereas the 9 other teams can just whistle up new uprights, bells & hats from their design/engineering department this guy is stuck with whatever he can get made by 1/3rd parties although he is, ironically, a world leader in machine tool automation.
