Force India will field an all Mexican line-up during the first free practice session at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez this weekend. Alfonso Celis Jr will step in for Esteban Ocon for the session, driving alongside compatriot Sergio Perez.
It will be the third time this season that Celis Jr has taken part in a FP1 session, having driven at the Austrian and Hungarian Grand Prix weekends. Speaking ahead of the race, Force India team principal Vijay Mallya said that it will be massively significant for Perez.
"The Mexican Grand Prix is always a hugely important weekend for everybody in the team, but especially for Sergio," he said. "We receive huge support from the fans and with so many guests and partners joining us at the track we have extra motivation of put on a strong show."
Four other junior drivers will also receive outings this Friday. Sean Gelael (Toro Rosso), Antonio Giovinazzi (Haas) and Charles Leclerc (Sauber) are all set to gain more Formula 1 knowledge as they take to the track once again.

Hope he turns out to be more of a Pérez rather than a Gutiérrez. Because so far he hasn't won't, or been close to winning anything. But again, neither was Jules Bianchi and so many thought he was a big deal.
