Lewis Hamilton claims that the only teammate he has learned something from is Fernando Alonso, when the two were partners back in 2007. The then-rookie joined McLaren for his first season in F1 alongside double world champion Fernando Alonso.
Since their year together, Hamilton has gone to secure four world titles - one with McLaren and three with Mercedes. From 2014 to 2016, Hamilton and former teammate Nico Rosberg battled for the championship, which caused much tension within the team.
Rosberg shocked the motorsport community last year when he announced his retirement at the end of the 2016 championship, after securing his title. Hamilton was asked if he has gained anything from Rosberg, to which he replied: "No. From all my team-mates that I've raced with, I don't generally take much from them.
"I'd say probably the only team-mate I've ever really learned something from would have been Fernando - it was my first year in F1. After that, I would say I was able to have the experience, so I never felt I was taking anything from another driver. I was just always trying to enhance and unlock my own abilities."

I can see that to a point, except for that you as a driver constantly share data with your team mate. Like it or not, Ham dear, you have learned from Button and Rosberg, oh yes Rosberg, aswell as Alonso.

He has however learnt to be a lot more arrogant but that may have been self taught. Would like to see a tad more humility.
