Max Verstappen says Lewis Hamilton's off-track behaviour often leaves him "perplexed". The Red Bull driver told De Telegraaf newspaper that over the course of the last year, he began using social media less and less.
"I don't follow many drivers on social media," Verstappen revealed. "I follow Daniel (Ricciardo). And Lewis. And Pierre (Gasly) because he's a nice guy. When I see what Lewis does in his free time, I'm sometimes really perplexed. He does so much! It's his life and he wins races and championships so it's fine. You can hardly say it doesn't work for him," he added.
Verstappen is quoted by Turun Sanomat as saying that after a bad start to the season, he now doesn't want 2017 to end. "Abu Dhabi is the last race but I'm in really good shape at the moment. I'd prefer to just keep racing and racing," said the Dutchman. (GMM)

Lewis' off-track lifestyle most definitely used to affect his racing. But not anymore. I don't mind his jet-setting lifestyle. I just wish he wasn't so douchy about it. He is so worried about being a celebrity.
As for Verstappen, I wish he'd do racing in other categories during the break since he wants to keep racing. I'd be watching wherever he went. Same as I do with Alonso. Wherever he races I'll be watching.

If Alonso/Vettel is in the other seat, he would n't spend as much time partying.

Yeah, I dont think he'd be able to keep up otherwise.

Alonso and Vettel wouldn't beat hamilton often, in equal kit, Hamilton will out qualify and therefore have the advantage on race day in most races - hamilton wins.

Don't know about that comment. He was beat by Rosberg in an equal kit. I wouldn't put him in the same category as Vettel Alonso Ricciardo or Verstappen

I agree with you, F1 SKI. If Hamilton were barely beating Rosberg in the same car, imagine how it would be against the likes of Alonso, Vettel or either RB driver.

I think that Vettel and Alonso (especially) may not be able to beat Lewis most of the time in quali under normal circumstances, but they would find a way to debilitate him mentally and psychologically. That has always worked with Lewis. Even Nico Rosberg, the most charmless guy on the grid, managed to disturb Lewis enough to mess him up for long stretches of the 2015 and 2016 campaigns
