Ferrari confirmed at its annual pre-Christmas media dinner in Maranello that it would unveil its 2018 challenger on February 22nd. The Scuderia is the first team to announce its launch date.
Ferrari resurged to the front of the grid in 2017, challenging Mercedes throughout much of the year. However, after a troublesome stint in Asia, its title bid dropped away, with Sebastian Vettel conceding defeat to Lewis Hamilton in Mexico.
The Italian marque is hoping that its 2018 car will prove to be even stronger than the 2017 SF70-H, which took five wins and five pole positions this season. Ferrari also verified that it will be taking the wraps of next year's car through an online presentation.
