FOX Sports will continue to exclusively broadcast Formula 1 in Latin America until 2022, after signing a new contract with F1. It is the latest deal F1 has tied up in recent weeks, with RTL and Movistar also securing deals in their respected regions.
FOX broadcasts F1 to all Latin American countries except Brazil. The new agreement includes every free practice, qualifying and race sessions, while also separate programmes that will showcase the FIA Formula 2 championship and GP3 Series.
"We are very happy to have FOX Sports as a partner in Latin America for the next five years,” said Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights in F1. "This new agreement represents a great opportunity and will allow us to bring the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in 19 countries throughout South and Central America where Formula 1 has a strongly established tradition as well as huge potential to gather and galvanise new fans."

Great. Latin America remains still a huge and largely untapped market.
