Formula 1 hosted an 'F1 Live' event in Milan yesterday to promote the series ahead of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix. However, it did not go as planned for Sebastian Vettel, who crashed his SF71H into plastic barriers.
The event also saw Vettel's teammate Kimi Raikkonen, as well as the Sauber's of Marcus Ericsson and Charles Leclerc. As Sauber has Alfa Romeo as its title sponsor this year, it has taken on some Italian racing legacy for the 2018 season.
After Vettel's embarrassing crash, he was able to continue with a damaged front wing. The German will be hoping for more fortune this weekend at Monza, where is aiming to take Ferrari's first home win since 2010.

Very embarrassing lol, but then at least he turns up to events like this, unlike a Mr Hamilton who cannot be bothered.

Ooh that's embarrassing, and in front of the home crowd to boot. However it must be said that it's great to see these kind of events. If there was one in a city near me I'd be there for sure.
