Haas has not agreed for Force India to receive prize money

Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has admitted that Haas has not signed the proposal to allow Racing Point Force India to inherit the money earned by the now dilapidated Sahara Force India team.
After it was saved from administration, the team had to race under a new entry as the purchase from its previous owners didn't include the race entry. It was believed that all other nine teams on the grid had signed to allow the new Force India team to inherit its predecessor's prize money.
'Column 1' payments are distributed evenly among all manufacturers, however a team must finish inside the top 10 in two out of three consecutive seasons to receive it. Haas has taken objection to the new Force India team receiving the money, as it is effectively a brand new outfit.
“With the new licence, we didn’t sign for that,” Steiner said when questioned by RaceFans.net. “We still need to understand why it should be different. Not signing doesn’t mean that you are right," the Italian added.
“What you need to understand is with the new licence, why would there be a reason not to be treated like a new licence?” he said. “That is what we need to understand. We cannot explain it to ourselves, somebody has to explain it to us, and that hasn’t happened yet.”

Everyone, including Force India would do the same. There are no saints when it comes to money.

Makes sense, Haas think of them as their greatest rival. They'll do anything to mess with them. Doesnt make it less of a bellendry, mind.

Sons of bitches. Cowards. We're not talking about giving Force India a special advantage. We're talking about letting them keep what they rightfully earned. The lost of revenue was due to a technicality and wholly undeserved. Maybe any team on the grid would have done the same thing... but I would say the same thing about any team.

The whole "going into administration" saga was pre-planned. Haas is actually doing right thing by questioning them, as the whole process of saving SFI looked like an organized coupe. I would be happy if SFI gets the previous prize money but I also want to know how did they saved SFI out of admin so fast ?

A real interesting question is, if Racing Point Force India is a new entry, that just happened to have bought all the assets and hired all the employees of an existing entry,
what happened to that existing entry, the one that no longer has any assets, called "Force India"?
If Vijay Mallya c.s. still own that entry, do they get the prize money if Haas don't sign, having completed half a season and scored points in this one and the two previous ones?
Or does it get distributed according to some ratio between the other 9 entries?
