Stoffel Vandoorne has vowed to give the final seven Grands Prix of the 2018 season his all, as his time as a McLaren racer will end following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Last week, McLaren confirmed that the Belgian driver would be leaving the Woking squad at the end of the year.
His place will be taken by Lando Norris, who is the team's current reserve driver. Vandoorne has struggled this season, scoring just three top-ten finishes. The 26-year-old has failed to bag a point since the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, 11 races ago.
Despite getting ousted at the team he was once destined for greatness with, Vandoorne has promised to go out on a high, starting with the Singapore Grand Prix this weekend: “Last year was my first experience of racing in Singapore and I really enjoyed it.
"In fact, it was there and in Malaysia that I scored my best result yet in Formula 1, in seventh place. It’s a track that definitely suits the strengths of our package more than others, so I’m hopeful of a more positive weekend where we can show improved pace and take the fight to our competitors.
“Although I’m very much looking to the future since I confirmed I won’t be racing for McLaren next season, I’m also 100 per cent determined to give everything for the remaining Grands Prix this season. Both the team and I are pushing very hard to get the best results we can with what we have, and it’s certainly not over yet.
“Racing at Singapore was an incredible experience last year and I’m really looking forward to doing it again. Going through the whole weekend on European time is one of the coolest things about this race and it’s a totally unique experience that we don’t get anywhere else we travel to on the calendar. Let’s hope we can have a positive weekend for the fans.”

There are options. For me the Toro Rosso would be an good place for him. That car is going to have a lot of Redbull parts on it. The Honda engine has been improving loads and he's a solid driver that will give some stability to the team since he's not an rookie. Two rookies could be done but I think that there aren't junior drivers ready yet for F1. My guess is that he's going to lineup with Buemi in Toro Rosso.
Wiilliams is depended on the sponsorship that he can bring to the team.

Lot of people under estimate the fact that, he will have the most experience with a Honda Engine, than any other racer on the 2019 grid.
