Following Williams' announcement that Robert Kubica will be making a remarkable comeback to Formula 1 next season, there are just two seats seats left to fill out for the 2019 grid. Toro Rosso and Force India are both yet to confirm who will come in next year.

As his father now owns the team, Lance Stroll is all but confirmed at Force India, but it is believed that the Silverstone squad is waiting for Esteban on to confirm and announce his 2019 plans before it declares Stroll as Sergio Perez's teammate.

It is not clear-cut who will take the second Toro Rosso seat, however it is believed that current driver Brendon Hartley and Formula 2 racer Alex Albon are the two favourites, while Red Bull junior Dan Ticktum has a small outside chance.

  • In terms of interesting pairings - Ferrari, Red bull, Renault and maybe Sauber. This could be an interesting season. I am even hoping Stroll will surprise a lot of people.
