Red Bull Racing has showcased its new car that will compete the 2019 Formula 1 season, the RB15. The car has been presented in a radical new livery, as the team adopts more red and a darker blue as its new design.
Red Bull has described the launch design as a 'one-off livery'.
The car will be piloted by Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly. Verstappen has won five Grands Prix in his three years with the energy drink squad while Gasly makes his debut for the team this year after spending the 2018 campaign with its junior squad Toro Rosso.
2019 will mark the team's first season with Honda as it engine supplier. The Japanese manufacturer raced last season with Toro Rosso, in what was an all-round successful partnership.
Red Bull's relationship with Renault fell into despair over the last five years, as the partnership failed to emulate the success it had prior to the introduction of the V6 hybrid engines.
The team will be hoping that its new partnership with Honda will allow it to get back to championship-winning ways. Last year it took four Grand Prix wins, the most from any season in the hybrid era.
The new car features a complex bargeboard system full of vanes and aero parts. The air inlet is also noticeably narrow, similar to last year's design. With the S duct, there is a curious design on its outlet.

Looks like the front wheel attachments have been reworked it's hard to see with that test colour scheme. There is no Honda reference at all on the bodywork. From what I from the STR video on silverstone the Honda engine sounded great. Can't wait to follow the testing.

Sounds great, don't it? Very raw sounding. Still kinda have that Honda-raspyness to it.

I dont think they will keep this livery for season, like always they are using a different one to hide any new designed parts

Kudos on actually doing something different. Now is it just me or they're missing a few sponsors compared to previous years?

Judging from their page, they haven't lost any. And I bet this is but another test livery. Will probably go right into the bin, with all their other test liveries.

Probably, but haven't they said in the past that they would launch a different livery later?
Either way, good for them. Good for their sponsors. Good for the fans that love seeing some creativity. I don't understand why more teams don't do this. It's relatively inexpensive to do a paint job

Its varied quite a lot. Some times they did, some times they didn't. Personally, I'd love for this livery to be permanent. It'd be the final touch to show the dawn of a new era.

Looks pretty cool, but is it the testing camo or the actual livery? Nice artistic take on the bull and the view from the front looks great.

Looks as aggressive as their front wing, and side pod winglets.

Looks really cool, but bet it is but another testing livery.

Colour scheme I like but doubt it will go into racing. Smacks of the random pattern wrapping you see on new production cars on road test, throw people off the detail.
BUT huge new front wings on all cars I do not like. Hope it has the desired need to aid overtaking. Otherwise put some chains on the wheels and make em all the fastest snow ploughs the world has ever seen.
Shall we open a book to bet on who loses theirs first in Melbourne? Bookmakers could have field day on losing these front wings, which driver 1st, how many laps in, how far will one fly - actually that is a serious point that’s a big piece of carbon to let loose at 200+kph
