Haas: No plans to replace Grosjean for Germany

Romain Grosjean will race for Haas next weekend in Germany, GPToday.net understands.
Speculation in the media has suggested that Grosjean's exit from Haas could come in the next few races, with Mercedes reserve Esteban Ocon reportedly being lined up as a replacement.
Grosjean was involved in a lap one crash with teammate Kevin Magnussen last weekend at the British Grand Prix, adding further misery to its season so far.

The American outfit has been left baffled by a lack of race pace throughout the season, and even reverted Grosjean to an Australia-spec car at Silverstone to help it understand its issues.
However, its plans to learn and gather information in the race went down the drain when Grosjean and Magnussen collided on the opening lap, putting them both out of the race.
Reports regarding Grosjean's immediate future followed, however now a Haas spokesperson has told GPToday.net that it is "business as usual" for the team as it prepares for the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim, and it will field Grosjean and Magnussen.
Haas has now gone four races without scoring points, and currently sits ninth in the constructors' championship.

Replacing a racer mid-season, without a suitable replacement is a classic emotional rookie mistake. Glad to see Haas not making it.

Ocon is ready and I doubt he will be racing for Mercedes next season given Bottas' performances. Moind you, stranger things have happened.

Not sure I'd feel safe if I were Grosjean though considering the emphasis on "for Germany"... But surely Ocon or Vergne would do a better job at this stage?

I was thinking about Romain's performances since his stint at Renault and frankly I am shocked he's still in F1. Maybe he has some serious sponsorship. He has been a bit of a Maldonado for several years. With bizarre incidents, collisions, tremendous gaps in performance, and yes some real highs. But when you consider that guys like Buemi, Vergne, Ocon, and Nasr were left without a seat... It's properly shocking.

Worst thing is, he doesn't. I don't really know he still is in F1 in regards to that, but Romain probably bring in the least amount of sponsor cash of all the drivers. I still think he mostly did well at Lotus, but even then he made some really weird mistakes. I just think there are so many other drivers more worthy of that seat.
