Italian Alessio Lorandi has confirmed he will race for Jenzer in GP3 for the remainder of the season.
Lorandi, who until recently competed in the FIA Formula Three championship, is the second driver this year to jump from Formula Three to GP3 after Arjun Maini secured a seat in July.
At the most recent F3, Lorandi stated that he would be leaving the series but no details of his next move immediately followed.
There are two rounds of GP3 left, one supporting the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The 18 year old says he finds GP3 series interesting and is looking forward to getting into it.
"It's a relief for me to be back behind the wheel of a racecar after the early end of my FIA F3 experience," said Lorandi. "I thank Andreas Jenzer for his enthusiasm and for the trust he placed in me."
"It is a really interesting and competitive series featuring some of my previous Formula 3 contenders like [Charles] Leclerc, [Jake] Dennis and [Alexander] Albon."
