Alex Albon took victory in the GP3 feature race earlier today, and is understandably happy with his performance after he was left disappointed after qualifying.

"Yeah I'm really, really happy. As I said yesterday we've changed a couple of things since Monza and it's really worked. We've been quick all weekend - qualifying was messed up due to a mistake made by me. But I came in pretty confident that I could challenge for the win."

However, his race was almost ended at turn four when he was hit by Nyck De Vries but managed to escape without any damage.

"I had a really good start and then of course entering Turn 4 - we were almost three abreast with Charles and Nyck (De Vries). I braked really late, so did Charles and maybe Nyck out-braked himself a bit. I was very fortunate to avoid contact. I think we may have touched but I didn't feel it as we were that close.
