Juan Pablo Montoya is confident he will be on the IndyCar grid, despite speculation linking him with an exit from Team Penske.
The former F1 driver is set to be replaced by Josef Newgarden next year according to paddock rumours, but Montoya not only insists that Penske haven't made their mind up yet, but he is confident he will still be racing in IndyCar next year.
"They haven’t made a decision. I haven’t made a decision,” Montoya told IndyCar.com. "They’re probably looking at a lot of options. I’m looking at a lot of options."
"I don’t know," Montoya added. “We’ll see. We’ll see what happens."
However, his aim is still to land a full time seat in IndyCar
"Oh yeah, that’s the goal," he said, despite rumours linking him with a switch to the World Endurance Championship.
Montoya has also been linked with a move to Ed Carpenter Racing to take the place of his potential Penske replacement Newgarden.
