Audi swept the front row in qualifying for Sunday's World Endurance Championship race at the Nurburgring with Andre Lotterer and Marcell Fassler's average time of 1 minute 39.444 seconds beating team mates Oliver Jarvis and Lucas di Grassi by more than two tenths of a second.
The reigning champion Porsche of Timo Bernhard, Mark Webber, and Brendon Hartley was third, ahead of the sister Porsche with the #6 and #5 Toyotas lining up fifth and sixth.
Rebellion Racing took the privateer LMP1 'pole', but the ByKolles entry split the to Anglo-Swiss cars.
In LMP2 G-Drive continued their dominant weekend by beating Signatech Alpine to the class pole, with Strakka in third.
Aston Martin shone in GT Pro, taking first and third, Ford ending their hopes of a one-two while the highest placed Ferrari was fourth. Abu Dhabi-Proton Racing took GT Am honours.
