The United Arab Emirates is the latest region to get their own Formula Four championship, following on from the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan, China, Mexico, Spain, South East Asia, and the United States.
The junior category will begin at the end of October, finishing in April, and will consist of 18 rounds over six weekends, most of which will be at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix venue Yas Marina Circuit.
"We have launched a comprehensive calendar of events and programmes, providing everyone in the UAE with an active and varied choice that underlines the circuit’s multi-purpose role within the community, said Al Tareq Al Ameri, Chief Executive Officer of Yas Marina Circuit."
