Red Bull is planning to bring upgrades to the Spanish Grand Prix in just over a week, however the changes will only be 'subtle'.
Spain is the traditional venue where teams bring their first major upgrades of the season, after extensive running at the Circuit de Catalunya for pre-season testing.
The energy drink squad has one podium to its name so far in 2019, as Max Verstappen crossed the line in third place at the season-opening race in Australia.
"It's fairly subtle and it's just evolution," said Red Bull team principal Christian Horner. "It will be the usual front and rear wing upgrades. It's evolution rather than revolution."
The Briton added that the upgrades would focus on "different aspects of balance, on degradation and all of those things".
The team struggled in Bahrain but was able to sort out its problems at the in-season following the race weekend at the Sakhir circuit.
In Azerbaijan, Red Bull suffered from tyre warm up issues, but showed strong race pace, with Verstappen stating that a late virtual safety car, caused by teammate Pierre Gasly, cost him a shot at a podium finish.
"I think we've closed the gap since the beginning of the year," said Horner. "In Melbourne we had a strong race and Max was pushing Lewis the majority of that Grand Prix.
"Bahrain was a tough race for us but it exposed some things that we've managed to improve on since then. China was a stronger race, and [Azerbaijan] even more so, and on a track that doesn't historically play to our strengths.
"We're looking forward to heading back to Europe now and we have a few circuits coming up now that should really suit us."
