Alex Lynn is hoping that his most recent test session at Silverstone will boost his chances of graduating to Formula One for the 2017 season.
Lynn, who has been a Williams development driver since January 2015 feels he is now experienced and confident enough to make the jump to F1.
"This is another day completed: no incidents, no problems and I did a good job and compared very competitively with the race drivers in the runs I did,” he said.
“From my side, I’ve already said I feel ready to make this step up and today was another little tick in my experience book.”
Lynn is currently competing in the GP2 series and lies ninth in the standings.
