Felipe Massa has admitted that he is talking to teams other than Williams in a bid to secure his Formula One future.
Williams have yet to confirm their drivers for next season, with Lance Stroll, Daniil Kvyat, and Alex Lynn linked with the team in addition to Massa and his current team mate Valtteri Bottas.
At the German Grand Prix the Brazilian said that he was talking to other teams in the paddock as well as Williams in an effort to secure a drive from next season
"The talks is for sure happening since a little bit of time, I would not say just here in this team but around," he told Crash.net. "I think now we have no one hundred per cent right answer [from Williams] and in the time we will get the right answer, so we see what is going to happen."
"The talk is not just in Williams," he continued. "I don't really want to say names of teams or whatever but I am interested in being able to drive in a team that I feel important, that I feel that we can have a good result, a good job, and if I don't have that, maybe I will not be here next year."
