Mercedes junior Esteban Ocon is the latest driver being linked with a move to Manor this season according to Autosport.
The publication reports that the Frenchman, who has been on loan at Renault as well as competing in DTM this season, could replace Rio Haryanto at the British team if his funding dries up.
Rio Haryanto's manager Piers Hunnisett apparently has just under a month to secure the funding required to keep Haryanto in his seat for the rest of the year.
It is though that having Ocon in the car instead would improve Manor's engine deal with Mercedes, already discounted by using Ocon's fellow Mercedes junior Pascal Wehrlein.
Ocon is also in contention for a Renault drive in 2017.
