Carlos Sainz has hinted that he is more comfortable at Toro Rosso after Max Verstappen's departure earlier this year.
There was reportedly some tension between the pair at the start of the seaon but Sainz has said that the situation within the team has changed since Verstappen moved to Red Bull Racing in May,
"Maybe everything is a bit more open, everyone started working a bit more together, maybe started working in more of a team," Sainz told Autosport.
"When you have two strong team-mates, there will always been some friction between the two drivers," he added. ""It was not that I was not liking it. We had to deal with it but I didn't see it as a bad situation."

I think it's also about Max's engineers who were sacked and replaced by less senior ones. Kvyat doesn't stand a chance and after the sacking no-one is going to give trouble anymore. Especially not the recently promoted engineers.
