Marcus Ericsson has revealed that he his talking to a number of teams over a potential 2017 drive.
Like Sauber team mate Felipe Nasr, Ericsson is in a contract year, but he is believed to have connections with Sauber's new owners.
Despite this, the Swede is keeping his options open and has been in discussions with multiple teams.
"We're speaking to some different teams, including Sauber, but there's not that many seats left so let's see in the coming weeks," he is quoted by Autosport. "Nothing decided yet, but hopefully soon I will know what will happen. Aim number one is to stay in F1 and in the best possible car."
When pressed on whether he had spoken to Williams, Renault and Force India, he replied "Yes".
"We've been speaking a bit with them. They were there as well – basically it's all the teams that are left," Ericsson added regarding talks with Manor.
"Obviously it's not myself but my management, and I think it's important to keep communication with all the teams and see what's happening."
