The sale of Silverstone is in doubt after two bidders for the British Grand Prix venue withdrew their offers.
Jaguar Land Rover and Ginetta owner Lawrence Tomlinson have both pulled out of the running, leaving an unknown but reportedly preferred bidder still in the running.
"Their decisions come at a critical time for the (circuit owning) BRDC, with its accounts showing cash reserves fell to just 9,000 (British pounds) at the end of 2015," F1 business journalist Christian Sylt wrote in the Telegraph newspaper.
The 2017 British Grand Prix is set to take place on July 9.
