Former Formula One driver Kamui Kobayashi thrown his name into the hat for the vacant Mercedes seat.
Yesterday, Autosport magazine published an advert from the team offering the position of race driver. The advert has seen a number of tongue-in-cheek responses, including one from self-proclaimed 'worst driver in the history of F1' Taki Inoue.
His compatriot, who enjoyed stints at Toyota, Sauber, Ferrari, and Caterham during his time in F1 has now also posted his CV online.
