Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff has revealed he would like to offer a test to Valentino Rossi and Sebastien Ogier.
Multipe-MotoGP champion Rossi has tested a number of times for Ferrari in the past and came close to joining the Italian team on one occasion. However, he has yet to test one of the current V6 Hybrid Formula One cars.
Ogier meanwhile has never driven an F1 car, but has said in the past that he would like to.
"I think it is the dream of everyone [to drive an F1 car]," He told Crash.net in 2013. "It is the highest performing car you can find. Definitely I hope I will get the chance to try it and discover this sensation."
Now Wolff has opened the door to both sampling one of his team's championship-winning cars.
"I am aware that F1 is also a show and I'd really like to test the ability of Rossi and Ogier at the wheel of our cars," Wolff told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Yes, my idea is to be able to organise a day with them."
His comments come weeks after three-time MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo tested a 2014 Mercedes at Silverstone.
