Ron Dennis is not in talks to take over at Manor, according to Sky Sports.
After Dennis was ousted at McLaren and put on gardening leave late last year, it emerged that the Brit may take over Manor.
Rumours heated up even more when Manor entered administration last week, however there are no serious discussion between the two. BBC reported that John McQuilliam handed in his resignation as technical director, pending a takeover.
The team are still waiting for potential buyers, with Asian investors said to be in talks with the administrators.
Manor have until January 20 to complete a deal or else they will be absent from the 2017 grid.

Dennis WAS, IS and ALWAYS will be what made McLaren, McLaren.
These new pretender fukwits will never get it to where what it once was. Look at them, pathetically waiting for Chinese investors, Chinese investors are only in it for one thing, Profits. They don't care for prestige, they'd be happy if the money comes in despite being dead last. They will buy up the IPs and sell it for profits that's what they are after. Vultures.
Dennis is old, he doesn't have another lifetime to put in the time to do another Mclaren like revolution at another firm.
