The first day of testing the 2017 wet tyre was cut short today after Sebastian Vettel crashed his Ferrari. The German lost control of his prancing horse at the Fiorano circuit, leaving him in the barrier.

It is suggested that Vettel was on a warm up lap when he lost control of the modified SF15-T. Apart from some bruising Vettel walked away unscathed. Antonio Giovinazzi was scheduled to take the car out tomorrow which could change if Vettel requests more mileage.

Standing water = Aquaplaning. Your driving skills matter zero bit when that happens.
