Antonio Giovinazzi says that his main priority for the 2017 season is focusing on Ferrari, and helping the team progress. Ferrari signed the Italian at the start of the year as their reserve driver, after he finished runner-up in last year's GP2 championship.
Giovinazzi will not be getting a second week of pre-season testing with Sauber, despite filling in for the injured Pascal Wehrlein last week. However, Wehrlein will be back in the car this week, testing a 2017 car for the first time.
Speaking about Ferrari, he said: "I'm the third driver," he is quoted by Speed Week. "I will follow the race weekends and then we'll see what's happening."
The 23-year-old admitted that it will be tough to be sitting on the sidelines, but thinks he will quickly adapt: "It's going to be harder than before," he said. "To be in the paddock but with less adrenaline."

Bring in Romain. Antonio needs some real F1 racing experience.

Doubtfull decision.
Without good race results, he will get out of side, unless Ferrari really offers him a seat. Many other drivers will aim for a seat at Ferrari, he won't be any competition for them...
