Codemasters, the company who creates the official Formula 1 games, has announced that the Red Bull RB6 will be the next car that will be added to the selection of classic cars that the game contains. Codemasters had already announced that the McLaren MP4/4, Williams FW14B and the Ferrari F2002 would be included.

The car, which was designed by Adrian NeweyPeter Prodromou and Rob Marshall was the team's 2010 challenger that brought Sebastian Vettel his first world championship. Red Bull also won the constructor championship for the maiden time that year, with Mark Webber occupying the other race seat.

The car won 9 races with a further 11 podiums and claimed a massive 15 pole positions. Red Bull principal Christian Horner said: "The RB6 is the car that we first won the championship with and is therefore very special to us. 2010 was a dream year for Red Bull Racing, we accomplished our ambition and did it so convincingly. That was a striking car, backed by the drivers and the dedication of the team. We are ecstatic that the RB6 will be one of the classics in the game F1 2017. The car is anyway a classic for us."

F1 2017 will be available in stores from August 25on  PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
